Another day...

I haven't written in a bit and I am sorry. I always have a lot on my mind but can't seem to find the time. It's funny because I think about it all the time, in the shower, driving, walking the dog and many other random times throughout the day. So I found a great podcast on iTunes that showed me, spoke to me really, how to find the time...how to create the time in my already existing schedule which tends to often be hectic as it is. I suppose there is a book about it but I love the podcasts and audiobooks, I can do two things at once when I listen and commute! So because of the podcast I am back to my promise of at least three posts a week.

I am new to running a finding that the balance of workouts, running, and other activities during time off is a tough thing to do. I noticed that I cannot train my legs as hard as i usually do prior to a long trail run or I don't perform as well. This means that I am scheduling the workouts even further in advance now. I have also started a fit club at my house Monday nights, where we do Tai Cheng. I have found so many of the moves we have learned to be helpful in all types of situations, including improved posture and foot placement when running. Foam rolling is also a lovely treat... Who knew?
I suppose the journey of fitness is always evolving for me. I welcome all the knowledge and love to share it with others. I have met so many like minded individuals in this journey as well. I have been recently reunited with people that I previously had nothing in common with but now we share this common hunger. I attended a boot camp run by someone I went to high school with that I haven't seen in 20 years or so. I am pleased to say that I have positively influenced my daughter to exercise and now even her boyfriend us doing P90x!
Well, that's all for now....
