My combination of beachbody programs, running and CrossFit has really taken my fitness to a new level! however, I have recently reached a plateau. I understand that this happens from time to time and I would like to figure out a way to blast through it. I also try very hard to remain open minded with many approaches and ideas about health and fitness. So,here goes... A new experiment! It's called 10 day vegan tummy tightener. Normally i eat a vegetarian diet and at times, vegan diet. At this point my understanding is that the program is a combo of a meal plan designed by a nutritionist and tweaked by a vegan body builder. The exercise portion is also written by the same vegan body builder. So far, I have taken the high fat/low carb test, taken measurements and tried the ultimate fat burning cardio workout. At this point I am almost ready to start the program on Sunday.
One if the most impressive things about the program so far is the workout that I sampled. It's an mp3 so I busted out the iPod, grabbed my running buddy (trooper the brown dog) and headed out! It started with a great mental exercise that has you visualize your body, your perfect body, then you breathe thinking about your body and visualizing yourself out and about doing stuff that you normally do, in your perfect body. This mind space is a very powerful thing! I have heard about vision boards and also this mental head space but I never worked at trying it. Trust me, it's very powerful because a night or two later, in my dream, I had my perfect legs..the ones that I visualized in the exercise. Wow! Waking up with an awesome feeling .
