I have recently been looking for the best way to track training sessions and physical activity. Sometimes a workout can be found in the most enjoyable situations such as stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, or even walking the dog. I prefer to track my workouts because I have a tremendous sense of accomplishment when I can reflect on what I have done. It's also helpful to see the forward motion in your capability. I mean, we are trying to get better and better each day at this stuff, right? So, I put together a facebook earlier this year and have been creating challenges each month. This month's group challenge is to grab a calendar and for each day that you workout you draw a diagonal line across the day. For each day that you eat healthy (this part is up for your interpretation) draw another diagonal line across the day so that if you have done both in one day you will have an "X" on your day. The goal is to try for as many X's as you see optimal for yourself.
I thought this was a fun way to share and everyone could post the pics of their calendar each week. Now I want to take it further and I have been looking for an app for my droid. I want to keep a record of my daily WOD and other activities. Any suggestions?
