Zen Running
Today I had a break through. I re-discovered my zen with running! I have not truly loved running since the marathon this past April and I don't even recall running longer than 8 miles at a time since the 26.2. I can't really say that it because of my new sneakers or anything like that (even though I drank the Solomon kool-aid and it was quite tasty) Yes, I made the purchase and I'm totally in love with the sneakers. haha sidebar... anyway.... I think it was something that I was thinking about while I was running that brought the awareness to my breathe. My breathe is where I found the amazing head space that had been missing for quite some time. It was total bliss! Everything was suddenly clear and I came to the conclusion that this was why I loved running before. Then I decided to take an inventory of what I was thinking and feeling. Some thoughts were that I don't have any pain or aches but I do have a marble somewhere inside that tends to tense up now and then. It's funny because every time I go to get a massage I have a new and different ailment, nothing serious. So this time the marble is in the left glute. I figure that my mission is to keep the marble constantly moving. The ailment only occurs when the marble stops and settles in one spot. Yes, weird, I know.
