Kenpo X was a total blast ! I really love love love that workout! I also went for a 8.5-ish mile trail run with the Salt Shakers and our dogs on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful run with some very difficult terrain. We did take a stop at the scenic overlook for a bit. (thankful for the nice break) All the dogs love it too, running off their leashes through the woods, cool breeze on a hot sumer morning. Upon completion of this nearly 9 miler, we headed to Sheila and Jeff's for some adult beverages. Super yummy. My intension was to complete the X stretch yesterday as scheduled but Bloody Mary's made by Sheila do not make anyone feel like stretching unless it's to reach for another cold one, lol. So I decided it might be better to reschedule it for today. This morning I went for a .5 mile swim with by bro-in-law and wow I feel so great. I think my body is adjusting to the added workouts of P90X. My breathing was better today than it was the other day and I was able to swim a bit farther. I have been serious about diet/nutrition. Each day I consume the P90X Results and Recovery Formula after my workout and Shakeology either as a snack or a meal replacement. I feel really good and accomplished.
In addition, I'd like to thank Beachbody and my team Team Phoenix ( Jeremy Yost ) for really being a center for all things good. I have found something that is so inspiring for me and enables me to do the same for others. I am reading and learning everyday. I also engage in personal and self development and really see how that can benefit anyone's journey to a happy and fulfilled life. It's a beautiful thing. I started a list of all the books I have read in the past few months and I was so surprised to see how long the list was. I am continuously looking for more great info to give and receive. This is amazing and it's only the beginning! Look out :)
